Max Canada Lynx & his styro-frizbee

Max is an educational animal ambassador. I found this piece of styrofoam-like shape in our ditch by the road. It must have flown out of somebody's vehicle. I put it in my workshop/animal room and Max found it. He carried it around, tossed it in the air and rubbed his face all over it. What a great toy! I don't think he would ingest the stuff, however, I did notice him pulling off bits when I re-introduced it back to him in March 2013. So styrofrizbee is no more!

Thank you for sharing this whole series with Max. It's nice that you are able to find toys that Max really engages with.

How lanky and agile he was back then, at only 1¼ years...

your lynx is so sweet!!!! i love it! but omg wow, it impresses me how well you've "trained him" (i say "train" cause of course, i'm aware that it'll always be a wild cat, but you've done it soooo well!).
I'm getting a canadian lynx with my boyfriend, we're really excited! But of course we'd love it if you can give us some advice.
We're aware that they'll always have a wild instinct, but we've talked about it and we're sure about this.
We currently have an old house cat, which we absolutely adore. We've read it's even better for lynxes to grow with an older dog or house cat, do you know if this is true? What are your recommendations?
Hope you can reply, we're your fans now that we're looking forward to own a lynx :)
Thanks!!!
