Max Canada Lynx & Blue

A little playtime in June 2013 with his little blue bear. Max has a tendency to chew on fabric, whether it's a rug or bedding. I had to remove his handmade den pillow because he chewed holes in the fabric and although it was stuffed with clothing, I couldn't be sure that he wasn't eating the cloth. Please note that the category this is listed under is "Pets & Animals", but Max is NOT a pet. There are no categories for just animals. He is an educational animal ambassador born in captivity. He lives outdoors where he can play and also has an indoor enclosure too.

He is beautiful.  The size of his paws is remarkable!  His behavior seems a lot closer to that of the smaller domestic cat than his larger cousins.

Very interesting video, one gets the sense that Max knows the difference between the blanket and blue but will still have that wonderful cat like urge lol of gentle defiance and carry on with nibbling that comfy looking blanket, bless him. It's always interesting to see that all cats play alike, whether wild or domestic. Cats fun, but one must treat the wild ones with a great deal of respect. Only those that know what they're doing should be licensed to take care of them. Obviously, you do, WildlifeBernie. What a magnificent Lynx. I took care of a domestic Tabby who was mixed with Bobcat (huge!!). He carried around a fake piece of fur like it was his baby. He would clean it, sleep with it. When I introduced another male kitten that abandonded, he took to him right away and became a father to him. All cats are amazing.

I love Max's videos. It is amazing how much he is like a housecat in so many of his behaviors and habits. Would love to meet him someday, but i probably won't have a chance.

I can see absolutely no difference between the lynx and the cats that my parents are keeping.
Well, except for the bigger teeth and claws that is! But in terms of behavior? Just as adorable.

Such a beautiful creature. They are on the verge of being reintroduced to the UK. I hope people will look at the facts and realize the overwhelming benefits of having these creatures living in the wild.
