The gimmick is a shiner; an old and little known prop in magic. It allows you to decipher the identity of any card without ever looking at it. It will also give you the power to seemingly read minds.

that was great! As a mentalist I like doing it for real though asking them to think of a card and then guessing it using the system of statistics. It is way more satisfying when I get it right. Also it helps if you know the person sometimes cause then youll know the difficulty. This trick was good! I can even use my Apple Watch
