Let's say you have a mild overbite and slightly crooked teeth at the top but straight at the bottom, how long would it take for mewing to make the teeth misalignments less noticeable?

My molars don't sit together snuggly. My left side can sit together but when it is, my right side can't reach down/up enough to meet. The medial ridges of the molars on my right side touch and I can put pressure on this meeting but it won't slide down to meet properly
