Thank you for sharing! Truly insightful and inspirational!
Met Tammy last night in Detroit, after attending Jordan's New Book Tour lecture. Keep doing what you're doing... People are listening!

"Religion is for sinners that don't want to go to hell... Spirituality is for those that have been there."
Learned in Recovery...
The AA "Big Book" teaches us that addiction is a "spiritual malady". We suffer from a three fold malady - Physical, mental, and spiritual. When the spiritual malady is overcome, we straighten out mentally and physically. Recovery, like life, is a journey, not a destination - Living one day at a time, being present in the moment, and being aware of self - thoughts, motivations/intentions, and subsequent actions. Willingness, Honesty, and Open-mindedness.

Acceptance doesn't mean you have to agree with "it"... It is what it is. Accept the "thing" for what it is. Then choose what YOU can do... Not using "it" as an excuse, for not becoming a better YOU!
