Does Terraria Have a Secret Farlands?

TerrariaCraft is a Terraria mod for Minecraft and since Terraria and Minecraft have very different world ends, I was wondering how does Terraria's world end in 3D?

the terraria farlands is the weird column of blocks beyond the border when you open a world on Tedit

0:10 in modern versions, there is a world border at 30 million blocks out, stopping you from going so far out that the game breaks. if you use mods to remove this limit set by the devs, you can keep going, and eventually you run into a point where stuff like rendering stops working properly (due to imprecision in large floating point numbers, the format minecraft uses to store coordinates). i think there still is a farlands in the traditional sense, but it's so far out everything else would be so broken you wouldn't be able to experience it properly

considering what you see in the background when your at the ocean in teraria it's very likely that each "world" you make takes place on a massive island

`In case you're wondering, Starbound's worlds loop when you reach their "edge" in the X axis. Even maps like The Outpost and mission maps loop, although you'd never be able to see it in vanilla gameplay due to either immense size or barriers preventing you from going far enough to loop.
Going too far up or down, on the other hand, leads to an insta-death if you're not in Admin mode.

16:54 crazy that he stopped LITERALLY TWO BLOCKS FROM THE END there, that is some next level luck

In Terraria, there were some tests to see what could possibly be past the invisible wall and the person doing this collected a single iron block from some strange glitches

I've got to say your videos have some of the highest production value they are so well edited and they've also got me into the game I especially love your 1 year one world I've watched both many times and can't wait to see more content from you in the future.

I wasn't satisfied with this, so I took it into my own hands. Minecraft's teleport command still works in this mod and while there is no farlands and it's just endless ocean, Minecraft's actual world border does exist. Although there's only a certain point in distance where the ocean floor stops generating, so it's not too interesting.

We all know that the end of a terraria world is a big black wall

the fact that you were two blocks away before being distracted and getting yourself killed is comical.

In 2d Terraria, the true world border is a stretched terrain generation (a wall if you will).
by opening a world with Tedit, we can see the 1 block wide border made of dirt and stone.
You can actually throw any projectile out there and it will hit the wall.

It's unclear how it got there as Tedit generation do not generate the wall when create a new world.
Also it appear to only generate on the left side.
