Ever since I watched Parks and Rec, I've wanted to throw a Galentines Day Party... and honestly I never really thought I would because I didn't have that many solid girl friends in my life.

Making friends is hard especially as and adult and after being bullied in high school, I've just kind of always been afraid of girls. Almost 10 years later I have some of the best girls in my life and I'm so grateful. I'm in awe of how God can turn things around and provide exactly what we need. He is good!! If you're still believing for community and good girl friends, KEEP PRAYING - they do exist and I know God wants that for you!

I hope this video inspires you to throw a Galentines Day Party for all the friends in your life. It could be the perfect way to start building your girl gang community! Today I'm showing you how I decorated for the party and the easy, simple recipes I made to throw the best Galentines day party ever.

Mini Heart Pizzas

Ingredients:

can of pizza dough
pizza sauce
mozzarella cheese
pepperonis
medium and small heart shaped cookie cutter

Directions: Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface. Cut out heart shapes using the medium heart shaped cookie cutter. Transfer to a baking sheet. Cut out pepperoni hearts using the small heart cookie cutter.

Spread pizza sauce on each dough heart with a spoon.

Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni hearts.

Bake at 400 for about 12 minutes or until the dough becomes golden brown. Serve immediately

Charcuterie Boards

Ingredients:

Salami
Prosciutto and mozzarella rolls
crackers
goat cheese
slices of cheddar, gouda or whatever your favorite cheese is
assorted nuts
grapes or other fruits
Candies
cookies
yogurt covered pretzels

Directions:

To make the salami rose, fold a piece of salami over a champagne glass or wine glass mouth. Keep wrapping salami around the mouth in a circle until the middle is filled. Flip the rose onto your board and remove the cup.

Fill in with your other favorite bites. You can’t go wrong here, there are no rules, whatever you like!! I cut hearts out of my cheese slices, added nuts, grapes, and did a dessert/candy board. The more the merrier!

Strawberry Cake Mix Cookies

Ingredients:

Strawberry Cake Mix
2 Eggs
1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
sprinkles (optional)

Mix everything together in a bowl until smooth. Fold in sprinkles. Scoop 2 Tbs of the batter into balls and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. ENJOY

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Hearts on a Stick

Ingredients:

Strawberries
Dipping chocolate
Kebab or lolipop sticks

Cut the leaves off your strawberries and cut in half. cut a small triangle in the thick side of the straberry (opposite the point) with a paring kinfe to make a heart. Melt chocolate in a deep dish. Insert sticks into the strawberries on the tip end and dip into the chocolate half way (or all the way lol) Place on a dish and serve

Oh my gosh Nicole!! It's so elaborate and so filled w hearts and pretty and the mini heart pizzas are amazing! I spent Valentine's w my mum and we went shopping which was unplanned, but it was fun. Praise God 🙌❤
