If you don't wanna get the wrong pads, just drive padless, you can't go wrong with that

There is ceramic, semi metal and metal pads, all of them have their advantages and disadvantages

I’m glad this video cleared up that question 😂😂😂😂

Ceramic pads good for running clean and heat resistance.
Metallic pads are far more aggressive and dusty. Both have a purpose.

I’m not a mechanic but I’m a welder and iron is magnetic, iron rusts so ima go with the left.

Ok so ceramic vs semi-metallic.

Both are good quality. Semi-metallic is usually better for performance vehicles as they have a better linear braking performance and good initial bite where the ceramics last longer and still give good performance but not as good as semi-metallic. However they can be *almost* as good as semi-metallics, but not quite the same performance level.

3 times akong gumamit ng ceramic. Tapos naisipan kong i try yang semi metallic. Makapit nga, iba ang bite. Kaso nasubok yang semi metal nayan pababa ng baguio. Gusto kong makita hanggang saan kaya i handle ang init ng pads to rotor. Hanggang sa umusok. Kaya para sakin balik ceramic nalang. Hindi iinit ng husto. Grabe yung semi met. Umuusok

One is ceramic and one is organic. Ceramic has metals in it and but harder but tend to be more noisy but overall a better pad. Organic is quiet and give off more brake dust with less stoping power

Please define your question about good! Good for what. Racing, of course metal is better if you don’t mind replacing the rotors all the time that’s just for racing.

I watch videos about the quality of brake pads so I learned about magnetism.🙄

Your screwing with us right?? Hoping this is a joke, yeahhh I gotta call it a joke...ha, I think...

non metallic doesn’t mean better or worse. ceramic pads are quieter, don’t produce much dust, and can generally withstand higher temperatures. metallic pads usually have better stopping power though and better feel. personally i prefer metallic braking material.

They might be just the same quality, one on the left is brand new on the right is worn down to the metal 😂😂

Ceramic doesn't squeak provides better breaking capabilities it's more expensive it's also non-ferrous

First one. The second one is nearly down to its medal is why the magnet was able to picked it. I think. Lol!

Ceramic pads are great if you're willing /able to warm them up. If it's on your DD, I highly doubt you'll have enough time to heat them before you reach your destination unless you're SLAMMING on your brakes going 60 mph or you're riding the living hell out of them going at a slight down hill

First one is fresh, second is worn and lighter than first due to missing material. Hence why magnet is lifting it.

Ceramic and organic brake pads are both good pads that are not magnetic
