Green Card VS Citizenship: Which Is Better Under Trump? With Trump back in office, green card holders face potential risks like deportation over minor offenses, expanded public charge rules, E-Verify issues, and delays in green card processing. In this video, I break down how these policies from Trump’s first term could resurface, the challenges they pose for lawful permanent residents, and why naturalizing as a U.S. citizen might be the safer choice. From protecting your status to gaining new rights like voting and travel freedoms, I’ll explain the key differences between being a green card holder and a U.S. citizen under this administration!

A green card permanent resident could be deported for felony criminal offenses, it’s always been the case.

If you are here and you don't do crime's, you don't have anything to worry about, people are mad about ALL crime, I'm a old white guy and we love all the people coming to this country outside of the people that are doing crime, I personally have Spanish people and black people in my family and they all came from other countries, but they married into my family and they have kids and work harder then any body I know

What we all need to do is look to Jesus and be saved. Don't worry about what man may do. Look to Jesus.

Being a USA Citizen is a 💯 better than a Permanent Resident Card. It give one the benefit to Vote, to work in government jobs, etc.

There are those that want to be in the USA and
there are those that want to be an American.
Should be easy choice, Trump or not.

Interesting perspective but given the current political climate many people are questioning if it will be safe to remain in this country.
Nowadays if you have a remote job, it’s fairly easy to move back to your country with the same employer. At that point, it may become expensive to pay for an international accountant who can file tax returns for 2 countries plus if applicable the state/province/region you live in. Not something that TurboTax handles very well. There are tax issues on foreign property and foreign mutual funds. So not about wanting to avoid taxes, but simply not have to pay hundreds every year to get this done. On top of it, it’s over $2000 to renounce a citizenship so if you have nothing to gain, it’s not obviously better.

Hi Moumita!! Thank you so much for your insightful and helpful videos on navigating the complex realm of immigration here in the USA.
I would advise strongly those who are eligible to apply for naturalisation and all the best to them..
I am only starting my journey!!

I think anyone who marries a foreigner in their country should do a fiance visa that way they can't use us innocent people who fall in love only for them to get a 10 year green card

I’m so sick of hearing he’s threatening deportations, it should be correctly stated as planning deportations.
