The A320 was used for special guests like journalists and people in wheelchairs, since it was the first ever delivered. Also Aaron forgot to mention that the pilots decided to go over the grass runway at that airport since all the airshow spectators were around the grass runway.

The pilots basically started to land the plane and the computer helped by automatically reducing power to the engines, it didn’t know the pilots wanted to just fly down the runway

After reviewing the flight recorder, the software contributed to the crash. While the pilots were negligent, a gust of wind caused the aircraft to climb, and the software commanded the elevators to bring the nose down. This crash illustrated the danger of having the computer override the pilot's inputs.
