Показать описание
Hey y’all! These Deep Fried Cornish Game Hens are a wonderful addition to any holiday meal.
If you have a small family and don’t want to cook a big ‘ol turkey this holiday season, try my recipe for Southern Style Deep Fried Cornish Game Hens. It’s also a great option if you want variety at a bigger holiday party. They’re unbelievably easy and delicious. The brining is a bit time-consuming, but SHOULD NOT be skipped! Don’t do it fam. Brining ensures a moist, tender bird every time. After brining the Cornish Game Hens, you’re going to make a herb-garlic paste and rub the hen down, and then season with cayenne pepper, black pepper and kosher salt. Next, coat with flour, let sit for a few minutes, and then deep fry until they're a nice golden brown. That is it! So simple, so tasty. I like to serve the Deep Fried Cornish Game Hens over dressing with a side of yams and collard greens, y’all know how I do! Enjoy!
