I had my first rebloom just the last 3 weeks! Only one bud left to open & she will have 7 blossoms! She's yellow with pink splash petals. I got her from a Kroger last year.

The roots & leaves are incredibly healthy & have grown so much. Your videos have helped me so much!

I’m also a beginner, how often are you fertilizing them when there is no bloom and we are in September already? One more question too, the air roots as I think I heard you call them, do they need to be watered somehow, or will the plant take care of them with water they receive from the ones able to be watered from the planting medium? I’m really interested in trying out the water culture you have converted some of yours to, but not so sure about understanding the calcium and magnesium ratios you talked about in your video. I guess I first need to buy the meters and reach out again...I really like how you can put them in decorative clear containers and vases. I enjoy your soothing voice and enjoy learning from you...thank you for these videos! Have a Blessed day as well!

Thank you so much Amy for the tips on fertilising. I have made a note of that. Wow all these lessons I am learning from you. I love it. I have my Phals in my bedroom which has a smaller North-facing window and a large West-facing window which sees the afternoon sun. I do however have a Dutch lace curtain in the latter. It is a really bright and warm room but the sun does not fall directly on my orchids. So far so good, they seem to be happy in this room. I will see how the reblooming fares in October this year. So my bedroom has become a bit of a greenhouse. I don't however allow too much ventilation on that side of the room because I know how delicate they can be. Thank you so much my friend, . I have a lot of your videos to catch up on. And I am truly grateful, and Buddy deeply loved 🐶🐾❤

Also I have found that the more of a cool down my phals. at night during the winter, the bigger my blooms turn out. It may just be my climate but my phals. love growing in semi-hydro.

Enjoyed this video but have a question. It makes sense to not fertilize them when it's cold outside but why would you not fertilize them when they are forming their buds. Doesn't that take a lot of energy during that part of their growth?

Dear Orchid Whisperer, is the Cal Mag mixture considered fertilizer and if not, what is the name of the Orchid fertilizer and how often should I fertilize?

My orchid is growing new leaves and roots on the spikes but no buds. Is this normal or should I be doing something different?
