Start a Volvo XC40 with a dead key fob battery

There are lots of videos about unlocking the car with the mechanical key if the battery is dead but I didn't find any that talked about starting the car if the fob has a dead battery. It's pretty easy. Open the center console and put the key (logo side up) on the little ledge right behind the garbage bin.
