I currently own a 2016 Volvo with key fob remote start. Since Volvo now requires you to annually purchase their app to do this, I will no longer be a Volvo customer when it comes time to replace my car. Thanks Volvo.

This video is old but leaves out a vital information. Volvo On Call is included with all new vehicles free for the first 4 years, then after that you have to pay to use the Volvo on Call features, the subscription price is currently $200.00 a year. This is a complete rip off you can have a remoter starter installed in your car with a key fob for around $100-$200 dollars and never pay again.

When I had my Jaguar I could set the temperature from the app shame this can't be done on my volvo. What temperature will it try to reach when remote started

so i'm going to get a remote start on Monday, it's cold in New England but I just spoke to Volvo On Call and I can get a remote start for $100 a year? I only need it for climate HMmmmm, gotta think about this...Also its complimentary for 4 years?? My car is a 2017 so it should still be good right?

My remote climate start will not work anymore. I used to be able to start the climate control to warm up my car, but now it tries and tries and then says climate could not be started. any ideas?

Hello, I bought a 2022 XC40 T5 R Line and it lets me start the car but the salesman said I can adjust the climate control. When I tap on the climate control button on my phone it only allows me to start the vehicle for up to 15 min. Can you guide me to the right place in the app? Thank you!
