Volvo XC40 (2019-2024): Dead Smart Key Battery. How To Unlock And Start The Car?

In this video, we will show how to Enter and Start the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Volvo XC40 in case the smart key / fob battery has died.

You will need to remove the mechanical key from the smart key to unlock the front driver door in the Volvo XC40. Then you will need to place the smart key with the dead battery in the designated spot inside the central console storage compartment of the XC40 in order to be able to start the vehicle.
