Anthony, I keep my air pod case and my phone in a zip lock bag in my pocket. Has always worked for me.

Roofing tape for r panel sheeting is the best. Also for removing metal burs on magnetic tools and nut drivers like 5/16 impact nut drivers.

compressed air works well to get metal dust off any magnet even mag squares

Most of the time I use compressed air, but once in a while I just use a stronger magnet (the one for lifting up to 600kg (1323lbs) usually does the trick) :P

Compressed air and scrubnutz towels and they're back to new. It gets the rust discoloration off too.
Personally I've gotten steel shavings, paint, ear wax, diesel engine oil, and transmission fluid off mine with the scrubnutz. I'm sure I'm forgetting something too.

Keep your case in a ziplock bag. It isn’t perfect, some debris usually gets in, but it’s better than nothing.

I normally have one of those Christmas place in Michigan type of perfume dropper thing and it gets all the way back there and it’s made out of glass that can scrape off anything or truly want to get rid of the metal shavings mic or strip off pencil and I would wipe the microfiber strip, mock with pencil, pushing onto the microfiber strip pump and fix the motorand gun with your pencil and you get the rest and your race with the sun on it. Make sure brand new.

I use old tooth brush with a little white spirit mix with a little toothpaste. Works every time.

Butyl tape like what you use to insulate windows or repair roofs (technically the same type of rubber that most chewing gum uses but without having to put spit inside my headphones case)

Over time the case just gets stained but I have a case of the zeiss cleaning wipes and I use them whenever it gets real bad.

If you’re using a qtip make sure you use 90% alcohol instead of water. It’ll help prevent damaging your headphones

I used to take a small Bluetooth speaker and Velcro it to the top of the inside of my welding hood

My earbuds don't have a case so I don't have that problem they literally have a power switch on each of them you turn the secondary one on first then the primary one and then you link them to your phone I've been around fellow welders that have had this problem

I've also used a stronger magnet .500lbs plate mag.
