BFI BMW E82 128i

A 128i is probably not at the top of most enthusiast list of sought after sports cars. But with upgraded suspension, brakes, wheels, engine mounts and other performance parts, the 128i turns into quite the road coarse weapon. If you close you eyes, it feels just like a BMW E36 M3 or E46 ZHP (well don't really close you eyes while driving, but you get the point). Join us on this Journey to take this E82 from mundane to something special.

This is E82 dudes, part one.

In this video we install
BFI Complete Replacement Engine Mounts
Kinematic Race Shifter with custom BFI Universal GS2 Shift Knob
ST Suspension XTA+3 Coilovers with 3 way damping
TSW Imatra wheels / Falken Azenis tires
and much more..

Stop telling people about the 128i. Remember it's a quiet, comfortable car for grandma's who thought their 325i was too big! No way a LSD, 3 stage intake, and a rear sway could turn it into a daily you can drive onto the track. Not only is it a bargain, but drive it back to back with an M2 and I bet you like the 1er more for the steering alone.

Grab these while you can. Hydraulic steering, analog gauges, manual handbrake, and natural aspiration are a dying breed.

I’m looking for one of these but I’m realizing how few were made with a 6 speed. It’s actually crazy how hard they are to find that aren’t beat.

Beautiful car. That wrap epic. Love everything about the car. 1 own a white 2012 135i. I've added some aftermarket accessories, but nothing on this level, but I'm definitely inspired. Thanks for bringing this type of content to the channel. Keep it coming.

Been saving up for a long time now... I have 4K currently and looking to save 10-12K for my first car (which, I'm hoping it'll be a i128 or i135) I can find them at that price with around 60k miles on average. IS this a good choice for someone looking to stage 2+? I priced everything and should only come out to around 3K.

Any chance you’re selling the old tail lights?

Did you put stiffer trans mounts in for the race shifter? Amd is there much added road noise from the race shifter. Great build btw

I love the 128i. In my opinion it was the last true BMW. The N52 is a fantastic engine. But whoever decided that an oil dipstick wasn’t needed should be shot.

I am currently trying to figure out why I don’t have any warning lights, when I work through the stupid system to oil is says OK. But when checking the level the computer shows there isn’t a drop of oil in the thing. Would be fantastic to have a little metal stick that would tell me which was right and which was wrong.
