Yes, in spots it sounds a bit fast, at the first moment, unfamiliar. But thats music: every player hast its own way of interpretation, regardless of whether primary school boy or world class pianist.
There is no distinct boundary between right and false...

I watched many different recordings of Chopin nocturnes (and played them myself). For me, Jan has a much more deep expression than most other.
Lay back and enjoy his playing (look for the other nocturnes by jan also), you will hear Chopin as never before.

I have always imagined Chopin to be difficult to interpret and play. Knowing the mind of Chopin must be equally difficult to play these pieces well, yet the audience must have found his interpretation fascinating enough, as did I. My applause also, Jan!
