I watched Lisiecki's Verbier Festival concert this weekend. I hadn't heard of him before, and I was totally blown away--how very awesome, especially for such a young man !!

He has nice hair, which is more than I can say for Trifonov, who really needs to comb it more.

They are not trying hard enough. Lang Lang is the modern day Liberace. He's wonderful!

I thought that Trifonov guy was hopeless, but I saw an interview with him where he had it spiked back and all. Now he needs to work on the sequins. I think maybe Jan here will beat him to it, but its hard to say.. neither of them will eve achieve Lang Lang's fashion style. But they're trying.

I have to admit, I am always impressed by the effect of blond hair on my listening. It's like the performance is suddenly good! This kid .. he can never be the next Lang Lang, but the HAAAAIIIRRRR!

Okay, I understand feeling the emotion when you play the piano. But when it gets to the point like this when you try to look the part it's way to over exaggerating. Well for me anyways.

What exactly are you 'blown away' by, apart from his age? 'Blown away' is very poor language, by the way.

When he was a child, Lisiecki looked so promising...what has happened? This way of playing piano is absolutely nonsense and trivial.
