Wow there is none of the tension of the Snyder version in this scene. It's so rushed and you don't get any involvement of the ship's computer repeatedly advising against their plan.

When the Justice League decided to bring Superman back to life, they could've made sure that the picture of his adoptive father, Johnathan Kent, didn't get ruined. He loved his adopted son.

So wait, if Clark was actually dead, why did the dirt move at the end of BvS? When this movie came out I didn't expect him to be "resurrected" I thought he would have already been alive..

I'm 3 hours into the Snyder Cut and haven't been bored once. This is the first time I have ever watched a movie this long.

I got goosebumps from Zack's version. Victoria had a vision, nightmare scene, and basically said No since he saw superman was a villain, and Barry heard GO, so he continued and eventually revivied superman

This was the only scene in the movie where I felt like I was watching a true sequel to BVS. Hans score makes such a difference.

Yeah... the scene really does feel different.
I mean, here, it feels like they're doing it just to complete the team with this magical Rubix cube.
In the 2021 cut, they delve more into the mother boxes importance. Superman's death was the key to "waking" them up and now they're the key to "waking" him up. They know he's the only one who can take down Steppenwolf, they know turning the box on will alert Steppenwolf of it's location and thus kickstarting the end of the world, and they still don't even know if the resurrection will even work... but it's that or wait for death.
The two scenes are cut from the same cloth, but theatrical cut doesn't explain why the resurrection is needed other than, "... Oh shit, we forgot about superman!"

I love how the Snyder Cut added a HUGE amount of suspense after Victor had that Injustice nightmare, said no which had Flash ask “Go?” then have Barry run, break his rule by turning back time a bit to touch the motherbox and leaving us worried that Barry doomed the world! All with a better and more suspenseful score, too.
