Always fun hearing ones own diagnosis mentioned! I was born with liver failure caused by alpha 1 anti-trypsin deficiency. I am one of only two(!) people in Norway having gotten a liver transplant because of alpha 1 anti-trypsin deficiency! I've had my new liver for 11 years now, no complications whatsoever 🤗

I went to the hospital last year for some liver problems and they were very unclear about what exactly caused my pain and were vague about how to prevent it in the future and now I understand why

My neurologist colleague tells me a whole story about a patient being very sick, then getting better and luckily being discharged- and then he says freaking out that he didn't notice the GGT was elevated and the patient was already gone!
I just said don't worry...it will be fine :)
I need to show him this video 🙂
