Bro how can you get the KVM working?

I plugged my keyboard to usb slot and used type c to connect monitor to an independent hub (ugreen) via type c 5GBPS slot which is then connected to my laptop.

Keyboard worked but the video has no output

Do you have a link of your HDMI cable? I recently bought a 27" 1440p 165Hz monitor, and bought a cheap HDMI cable in the same store with it. However, I'm having issues because at 1440p resolution the only refresh rate option available is 60Hz. I tried changing the resolution to 1080p, and it gave me the option of 120 Hz, but that's just it. Both my monitor and laptop has HDMI 2.0 port, so I'm not really sure what's the problem, I suspect the cable.
