I think that number 1 reason why he won US Open is that he won all of his matches

I think the completeness of his game was the key factor, because it means that no matter what position he's in, he always has something to give, and that means he's never caught off guard or in an awkward position, he's ready for anything.

Finally a youngster that comes close to the entertainment level of Rafa and goat roger 🐐

I'm so happy he came on the scene after a fed left us 😔 Alca is so much fun to watch, good luck in the French open final.

Hitting behind Alcarez has shown to be successful.

He is exposing how one dimensional some of these modern players are. They just want to be on the baseline and hit hard instead of having different weapons. It was the main reason why Rublev and Medvedev lost. Combine that with his humility and level headedness like Rafa and he has all the ingredients to be the GOAT when it's all said and done.

Agreed. I thought initially that he was being over hyped late last year. JCF is spot on. Stay healthy Carlos, and your career will sparkle like the greats before you.

If he can maintain the mental aspect of his game then he will be the next great. If no one stands to oppose him he could even surpass the big three in titles. Hopefully another rises to the challenge, Novak and Nadal can only hold him off for so long. Amazing to see another rise so quickly alongside the remaining two big three.

This kid is scary, he hits a heavy ball with a lot of shape. If his body holds up, he will be a dominant presence on the tour.

4th: His yelling during the rally, so powerful to cause Tsitsipas's objection on it...😅

But still one line under Djokovic, Nadal and Federer. With this talent and good head he can be one of the best in the future 👍

Saw him play Struff at Wimbledon last year and immediately said ‘this guy is the real deal’. The Wimbledon crowd is not the most knowledgeable and the stands were mostly empty!

My uninformed opinion:

I wouldnt say that he has "no weaknesses."

I think his first serve could do with a little work. I also note his propensity for unforced errors. He needs to match his intensity with consistency (compared to for e.g. a Novak).

Also think that he needs to develop a second tier game ... a game that works to win points even when his body is not up to scratch. I think this is one feature that still separates the big three from everyone else. Its easy to win matches when you have 19 y old fitness... but will his body be able to keep up with his game?

He can still work on his backhand..that's the only area other players can capitalise on

Well, when he beats one of the legends in a grand slam final then you can repost these accolades.

The reason why he is nr.1 is that djokovic cant played AO Montreal, Cincinnati Masters and Us Open won wimbledon 2022 but dont get points and lost 2000points👏

Reason 1: Sinner couldn’t hit 1 ace when it mattered
