Repetition of a short sentence or question helps you master key aspects of pronunciation, including intonation, rhythm, and linking. 💪 Level up and master expressing intention. Your tone of voice can convey emotions. In this #short, listen how I say the given question three completely different ways, although I still use the same basic rising intonation, rhythm, and linking.

🙏Special thanks to Tom Hanks for inspiring this activity by demonstrating his acting exercises that make use of repetition.

Teachers! Have fun in the classroom. You can challenge students to say this given statement ("What did you see?") different ways. You're the director. Provide specific directions and context. The repetition will build fluency and confidence.

What ongoing forms of support do I offer language learners?

I suppose
# be angry. A mother to her child when she isn't out of temper.
# frightened. A desk passenger to a sailor when he has seen a shark.
# joy. A traveler after a long oversea travel.
😅
