Star Wars Rebels Reaction: /Film talks The First Episode Of The Season

The Slashfilm team talk about the mini movie premiere of Star Wars Rebels, the first Disney/Lucasfilm collaboration which will premiere in October on Disney XD.

I still need to see the new movie that came out today but I am glad that you guys liked it. When the Clone Wars movie came out I was not that thrilled with it. I watched a few of the episodes online when the show first aired but did not really get into until it came out on Netflx and after finishing the last season I was just geeking out for how much I loved Star Wars again. The Prequels and the changes to the original trilogy really killed it for me. I hope JJ, Disney, and Lucasfilm will do SW justice. George did do some off the wall things with SWCW but I feel that he tried to provide a more unified universe for other artists to play around in. I hate to say it but I even started to like Jar Jar and I abhor Jar Jar Binks. There are so many things like I liked, they brought back so many characters and brought so many new ones on that I grew to love as well. With SWR they will probably try to wrap those stories up since many of them were left unfinished and the same people are working on this now, minus Mr. Lucas (thank goodness).
