I Got Pregnant At 14 | MY EXTRAORDINARY FAMILY

DESTINY, 17, got pregnant when she was 14, had her son at 15 and now has a YouTube channel to help support her baby Sincere’Cordae. The teen mum thought it was going to be her and her son “against the world” and hid her pregnancy for as long as she could from her family. Destiny was completely shocked when her mother congratulated her pregnancy and was supportive as growing up her mum was 'strict'. Although she doesn’t condone getting pregnant at such a young age, the content creator tells Truly that she has no regrets and is focused on making her baby’s life as easy as possible.

I applaud these parents for being there for their daughter and not allowing the opinions of others to influence their decision to be there for their daughter. This young lady has wonderful parents. Applause for the parents. My mom and dad also did not abandon me when I needed them the most when I had an unexpected pregnancy at 22.. I just graduated from collge and no income yet. They provided for everything until my husband (my boyfriend then whom i eventually married) landed his first job when our daughter was 1yr old. I sooo love my parents. Now fast forward to now---14yrs later, still together with my husband. I love my parents. 🥰🥰

When Destiny’s mom Leilani started to cry about not abandoning her daughter I felt that. I hate teen pregnancy but not the young moms who are trying to figure it out. I am glad that Destiny is trying to do better because her family seems lovely and trying to make her life better

Same thing happened to me except i was 13 and had my son at 14. I absolutely didnt have the support she has. It was DEVASTATING!

I'm not too much in favor of pregnancy at such a young age I mean to convey in that statement is - I'd much rather it be of adult age, maturely and financially grounded before taking on a life altering responsibility), but if it does happens I'll surely support them, after all a baby is a gift, miracle and blessing so of course I would - it's not the babies fault by any stretch. I want to convey in my observation going off what I seen here in the video - she appears to be wise beyond her years - I believe she's better than a lot of mothers twice her age. She was raised by two incredible parents. When she's able to garner finances I'm sure she'll contribute and also when her parents reach their golden years she'll be there to take care of them in their health woes, therefore everything will go full circle. I wish her all the very best.

I’m really glad that her parents didn’t just leave her and her baby on the streets, like some parents do. Part of being a parent is helping your children during the difficult, and scary, moments of their lives instead of throwing them away just to keep up appearances.

I don't condone teenage pregnancy but I still congratulate her on how well she's going through being a teen mom. 14 is definitely too young but she's done quite well. And her parents too for supporting her instead of kicking her out. I knew someone who got pregnant at 15 and her parents kicked her out once they found out. Lucky enough she had her boyfriend's parents to take her in. They're still married to this day with three kids (she's 4 months with her third). Some teen pregnancies don't come out well while others, like her story, does.

Sincere is such a blessing....my youngest daughter who was 14 at the time made that same mistake but I am momma bear so I protected my baby as well....here we are 22 years later with that bouncing baby boy she had and he is just the most....(PROUD NANNA!!) Ugh…such a beautiful family man. Ofc it’s not ideal and not the right thing for a 14 year old to get pregnant, but what’s done is done and I’m so happy that she has the support of her family to help her and to allow the baby to also have a beautiful safe life. Such a sweet fam
