Kids just don't understand how involved it is. What's worse is when grandma steps up and helps so much that the kid goes out "partying" while mom babysits, then continues to pop out 2 or 3 more kids.

I don't condone it and it happens to 2 parent households quite a bit. However, you can definitely over come it with the proper foundation and the ambition to succeed . I had my son at 16 and he is now 20. 3 degrees, 6 figures and he turned out extremely well because I made every provision on my end. I actually don't wish it was different, because of my will do succeed and my path to success was different. If I never had him, I wouldn't have had any. Don't make it the mistake several times over and make sure you learn from it.
