From the producer and executive producer of “Wicked,” Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, and director Marc Webb (“The Amazing Spider-Man”) comes “Disney’s Snow White,” a live-action musical reimagining of the studio’s classic 1937 film. The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with Rachel Zegler (“West Side Story”) in the title role and Gal Gadot (“Wonder Woman”) as her Stepmother, the Evil Queen.

The new trailer showcases the scale and beauty of the lavish production design, the beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy, and a first look at the power ballad Waiting on a Wish, one of the all-new original songs from EGOT winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“The Greatest Showman”).

Edit : this trailer made me rewatch the original cartoon classic. Man, how did we get from that to this, imagine representing the most wholesome Disney Princess that embodies beauty and kindness, but most specially, the beauty in showing kindness, encouraging young girls (and even boys) to be kind and stay kind regardless of your circumstances, and then casting an evil incarnate to play as her. We all grew up with these fairy tales, before the internet, and now hollyweird is trying to use it to shove down a different message, a very selfish one. God, I miss the simpler times.

TBH, Snow White is one of those things Disney has that in its original form is perfect the way it is. We never asked for this live-action work, and this trailer justifies why the original animated film should never be sullied by any modern remakes in any form.
