This video really resembles a mini documentary. The fact that you were able to project such a calm peaceful atmosphere is beautiful

I have not watched your videos in about 4 months, and I apologize. My best friend and I used to talk about your videos all the time at work. Sadly, he passed away suddenly 4 months ago. I had not been able to bring myself to watch your videos until now. I admit, I did cry some for two reasons. The first is that I believe he and I were watching this together. The second, that is such a beautiful venue. I hope when I visit Japan in a couple of years that I am able to visit there. I want to thank you for all the beautiful work you do, and you forever have my viewership and support. Thank you again. Ron Frasier Atlanta Georgia.

This is by far one of the best videos you two have ever published. The attention to detail is incredible. Your videos have evolved into works of art. I absolutely loved it. So proud to be a sponsor. The both of you are amazing.

I never thought about food the way mister Tokuoka talks about it. It's inspiring, calming, friendly. Your video shows his amazing point of view in such a beautiful way I cried, I actually cried. It's soul filling. Thank you.

Chef Tokuoka was not talking about a restaurant; as much as he was talking about a feeling, a calmness, almost a way of life built into the surroundings. The location, the food, to make you feel the way you want to feel when you leave Kyoto Kitcho.

With a new understanding of who you are. Damn.

We filmed this video a long time ago, and now we finally have the chance to share it with you!  Here is Kyoto Kitcho, quite possibly the most beautiful restaurant in Japan, and maybe even the world.

I just love your documentation videos, they always have a calm and peaceful feeling and are so nice to watch. I love the way you edit them and it's so interesting what the chefs have to say, it's always so poetic. This must have been a lot of work to film and edit! Very impressive job you've all done here and thank you for the beautiful video!

This was the most beautiful video I've seen in a long time.
I could watch it even without sound. Just the pictures are so beautiful already.
I'd pay for this video.

The chills are too real (I am on break now.) To have this kind of history with your restaurant and it not just be about the food but everything from social to historical is amazing. Thank you Simon and Martina for allowing us your viewers to watch this extremely well done video.

it's crazy how much you guys changed just within the last three years, in a good way tho.

the way you attend places like this, and you let not only the owners, but the actual ENVIRONMENT speak for itself with beautiful cinematography, it all really makes you feel as if you also have traveled to that moment in time. pieces like this truly are art, and you guys do it so beautifully. thank you so much for sharing places like this with us, because i feel like we do leave as different people after experiencing it. the amount may change per person, but the effect is there, and it's something you should be incredibly proud of. please, keep up the good work, and thank you again!

I need to tell you guys, the direction your videos have taken over the last couple years has just really struck me silly. I love how I've been able to sit behind my computer screen and watch your concepts evolve and mature, from KPOP Music Monday's to this breathtaking celebration of culture and food. The chef's words about enjoying not just the food that keeps us alive, but the experience of eating it as a whole. . . I am so blown away by this video. I hope that someday I'm able to make a reservation at this establishment, and that the two of you have many, many more such adventures.

Breathtaking! You really let the chef, atmosphere and food speak for themselves. Great job!

Please tell me I’m not the only one that was crying like a baby throughout this video? The Chef and Okami had the most beautiful words and sentiment to pair with such beautiful visual shots. Can we talk about that close up shot at the end of the leafy mossy wall with dripping water? Please Simon and Martina talk about this on next weeks podcast!!! Dying to know your opinions on the whole experience.

I don't usually comment, but this has to have been the most beautiful and gorgeous short film I have seen in a long time! I just wanted to say I appreciate the beautiful job you all have done and all of the hard work that went into making this! ❤️

The filming, presenting/presentation, monologues... everything is just so beautiful. I started tearing up. You guys did an absolutely wonderful job editing this together. The only other way I can describe the way I'm feeling is that it is similar to how I feel when I watch Spirited Away or when I listen to the Spirited Away OST. The attention and reverence to detail by you guys, the people at Kyoto Kitcho, and Hayao Miyazaki are breathtaking.

Can you tell how in love with this video I am?? Lol
