That was a crazy infested quest. I think you should have known something was up when your chat is asking you to axe a cop car. They definitely set you up.

You came out of that infested quest with a LOT more ammo than you went in with, just not all of the same type. Just the single full stack of 300 9mm which was only one of the several items in the infested quest can be sold for enough to purchase more 7.62 than you used to do the quest in total. And that was far from all you looted in the POI.

I've said it a million times about games, it's all about the balance. Getting loot, crafting your own stuff, buying from the trader, there are a lot of different ways to go in 7Day's already which is great. But that risk vs reward comes into play. When you do the jobs and loot you are getting materials to craft things so I feel like if you get enough mats then it's worth some ammo. And if you get good rewards from the trader it is even better. So far I've liked what I've seen with the loot and rewards, and I'm impressed with the zombies they feel more aggressive. But of course the No Fun Pimps put out a nerf update, so we'll see how that goes. Really have enjoyed the series, and hearing your thoughts about the game. Thanks for sharing the fun!

The Fun Pimps did say they wanted to incentivize using roads in Alpha 19. They finally figured out how to do it in 21.

After hearing you mention about hitting the cop cars last video, I (big brain that I am) tried it in my new world after the update... on day 1 or 2, with plant fiber pants, no armor and a lvl 1 bow... it scared the crap out of me and did not end well lol

From what I've seen the t2 infestations seem like a good get for gaining ammo for what you use since they're usually much easier. I'll have to play more myself to confirm though!

Kage I think you got played. Anytime you hit a police car you set off an alarm that brings cops and ferals. ALthough this may not have happened to you, but when I saw you get hit on that quest it made me think of another streamer. Hew was getting hit by a crawler that glitched into the floor. He couldn't hit it but it hit him. concussed, broken leg and infection. So be aware. also have you tried looting generators for engines?

I'm at day 19 and found 1 steel tool part, still using Iron tools unless I happen to find it in loot. Best find from a toilet was a tier 5 Pistol, add a silencer and it's my sneak weapon.

I’d like to say that the loot might be mediocre but the exp from the zombies is much higher. If I’m not mistaken, that helps boost your game stage faster so you’ll get better loot faster 20:35

Don't forget, in A20, they were giving away bullet casings and bullet tips for almost nothing

You know what I noticed watching this video? The frame rate seems really good. I think they optimized A21 more than people give it credit for.

Kage, you can make the structural brace mod. It's really useful because it slows down tool degradation and keeps you from constantly needing repair kits.
