100% agree with Jim.... CEO of Peugeot is definitely not the right person. All Stellantis BEVs are top dollar for an average electric car. £50, 000 for a compromised E-3008 is a joke.

Love seeing more low 20k small EVs coming in, I hope the market responds and shows that we still need smaller cars. Very good point about VW's two most successful cars being hatchbacks not SUVs

As the Ford Puma is a top selling car and it starts at £27, 000. It is logical that manufacturers need to make BEVs at £27k or less, to be attractive to buyers.

I had an Enyaq on a PCP for 3 years.

Good car. Not outstanding like most of the motoring press would have you believe.

Rock hard suspension and uncomfortable seats. Not a great combination. Other than that performance was pretty good, space was excellent and build quality better than expected.

Prefer the face on the new one.

Picked up mine before prices went up and squeezed in the old final Gov grant of £2.5k. Upper spec meant I paid about £35k for a car selling at £42k a matter of weeks later.

Thought I’d done well until I discovered it was worth £17k 3 year later having completed 3000 less than the agreed 30k miles agreed at the outset.

Thanks, don't apologise for being EV news heavy because that's where the news is. There will be very few new ICE cars or new engines etc to report on, but you can continue to report the steady sales decline of Stellantis.
The day of the smaller 150-200 mile range more basic EV is coming, the Frontera and Dacia are good examples.

I think that there is a video worth doing. Exposing areas of the country that has only a few chargers and cross referencing that to Councils that are actively unhelpful in planning applications.

One big problem is the luxury car tax, I don’t think a lot of people realise that any car over £40000 including EVs will be stung road tax plus the luxury car tax, that’s over £600 a year.

Skoda Enyaq front end with tech deck looks way better IMO. More svelte. Not sure why manufacturers placing headlights under running lights, where more prone to muck. Generally VAG vehicles all look a little old fashioned (timeless some folk would say). Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder & all that.

Totally concur - the CEO of Peugeot has it in her own hands to stimulate the market - by reducing the price of their products. I suppose for Vauxhall the real problem is that their EVs aren't very reliable. Skoda seem to be emulating Audi - their designs are quite conservative.

In my view the holographic windscreen will be rather distracting, I have a Lexus RZ450e and just about everything is shown in the HUD and boy does it take your eyes off the road as you have to shuffle through the display using the a circular motion just to answer the phone and other things (or perhaps it’s just me as I’m getting on a bit now😂)👍

Where I live, I have maybe 30 odd public chargers. But I also have a house I can charge it at.

Where I have to regularly travel has zero chargers 😅

Remove this crazy new car road tax £190 for electric cars.
What on earth are the UK government doing by that.
Surely an incentive in these early stages is needed. When an old diesel is £40 a year.

I've already seen a test drive review of this new electric Mazda 6e or EZ6 mentioned in the video. This Mazda is actually based on China's Changan Deepal L07 electric car.
