About 10 years ago I won a 500 mag from the NRA, so I decided to do some research about the gun here on youtube. The first video I watched was Hickok45, Magmun 500 vs Lawnmower. Subscribed instantly. I still refer to that video when I have to repair a lawnmower.

Compare the early videos to the newer ones and the camera, audio, and editing improved tremendously. Makes a huge difference. John seems to anticipate exactly what I want to look at, be it a super close-up of something, a long shot of the gong, a mid-shot showing recoil and even (to my surprise) seeing the bullet in flight. So, kudos to the man behind the camera and the computer.

The first Hickok45 video I watched was “Glock Cleaning Basics” 14 years ago, been a fan ever since. A suggestion I have would be to change the thumbnail for the videos on the Hickok45 Clips channel. Maybe a banner or border or graphics of some kind to separate the two channels. I sometimes skip right over the Clips thinking it’s a regular Hickok45 video that I’ll catch later when I have more time… when it’s actually a Clip that I have time for. This is actually more my problem than yours, but just a suggestion… Keep up the great work. 👍🏻
