I hope you guys have been hearing the criticisms of Rebirth and looking back at some of the older games to see what made them work. If you trust in the philosophy that you laid out on your site (in the “9 Years, 9 Lessons On Horror” blog), I think the games will be better for it.

It also sucks that SOMA got much undeserved backlash for “not being scary” when it really was a well made game with an excellent story and some fantastic scary sections.

I really love the detail of him instantly being jumped by the monster and screaming in terror, really nice detail that is better than just being damaged by the monsters like in TDD!
