As always, an enjoyable and informative video. You've mentioned in a couple videos regarding the heated seats and you felt they never really got very warm, this past weekend I had the occasion to use the heated seats in my '25 OB Premium for the first time on a 15 degree Minnesota day and IMO, they got as warm as my wife's 2020 Camry's did. When I picked up my wife at the airport and temps were dropping into the single digits, she agreed that her passenger seat felt every bit as warm as her Camry's. So I'm not at all disappointed in my Subie's heated seats output. Again, thank you for your videos.

I always felt the same way when TV commercials used to try to show you how great the TV's picture was. The picture will only be as good as your current TV.

The XT Touring is the way to go. Very hard to beat for the money. Good seats; good engine, looks good, fast and fun for any age & still takes regular gas like the regular engine. If you don’t want to spend the money do NOT drive the XT. Because once you do, you’ll realize this is a WRX Wagon and you will not buy the slower engine. Incredible car, the XT version that is. Spend the little extra for 60 more HP and smiles per gallon. 2025 XT is the last model before redesign; so resale should be good too.

On the heated seats, you got three levels the third level it gets very warm and it’s good. I always turn it down to the first level and the steering wheel warmer is top notch.

The one thing I miss having a Limited instead of a Touring is the CD player 🙂

I do not see a heads up display! I wish it had one. What are you referring to as the heads up display?

The mirrors look really small in the Outback. The power is shameful in that in such a heavy vehicle Subaru installs just a 2.5 182 hp. This is a powerful motor for the Crosstrek, just adequate in the Forester where SOA had the nerve to take away 2 ponies. In the Outback the word adequate doesn't seem to cut it at all. It's a 3900 lbs of hardware afterall. But the next gen Outback will have a turbo won't it. What about those buyers who don't want the extra strain a turbo will put in the engine? Subaru has been pushing me away with the weak motors they've been installing in some of their vehicles. Don't want to be too harsh as Subaru gives us it offers good features of safety, outward visibility, comfort to name a few. Thanks for the thoughtful video AA as always.

I’ve never driven the turbo. I think the 2.5 is great for around town and country roads. But if I was driving on the highway on a regular basis I would go for the turbo. I see very few turbos around here in Princeton NJ but you can’t even drive a mile down the road without seeing a few 2.5’s. If it’s a soccer mom or dad doing just local halls I think it’s a perfect car.

What is your 0-60 when Automatic Stop Start has turned off your engine, or did you change the default to off?

Need to replace my 2013 Outback 3.6R with almost 200k miles but do NOT like these damn CVT's. Had one in a Nissan Altima and then again in Forester. Just did not like it. Hoping the next gens do not have CVT's. Had a neighbor with different high end vehicles, and always drove his damn outback everywhere (except when he was with his wife) :)
