SUBARU spelled backwords is URABUS...and my new Base Outbact for 2024 sort of feels like a bus...large, roomy. My Forester trade in plus down payment cut the price in half from $30, 000 to $16, 000 or $250 per month and did buy the 10 yr/100, 000 extended warranty. Four of my previous vehicles were Base models. No need for extra bells and whistles and the added cost for maintenance of such! Peace!

Are you sure the 2025 OB has a 360-degree camera? 0:40. I thought they said only 360° heated steering wheel.

Great review. Though most people seem ok with it, which I get, I'm not a fan of the CVT. Wish they made a couple hundred manual transmission Outback Wilderness' per year. I like most everything about this vehicle except the CVT. Thanks for the segment.

People who love them love them, and they are Japanese. It's not my choice, but I can't argue the logic. I knew a guy who bought one of those little Suburau trucks with seats in the back, a Brat maybe? They drove that for a long time and a lot of miles. I doubt the plastic kitchen like chairs in the back would pass safety regulations today, of course, that was very early 1980s, before Florida was invaded, a very good time to be early 20s. I clicked on this hoping to hear a hybrid would be in the mix. No worries, hopefully they’ll have a hybrid outback when we are ready to get the wife out of her 22 Outback Touring. We bought it new, absolutely wonderful vehicle. Trouble free aside from the ui screen wonkiness
