Hooked up our Direct TV last night. How do I connect our sound bar to Direct TV stream?

I used to have this service while it was AT&T TV. Got rid of it because I was dissatisfied with the service only serving 3 devices at the time. Now that supports up to 20 devices in home, I’m considering going back. My only question is does it still have a channel input option with its set top boxes? A couple of us in the house are old school in that regard.

How do I mount this to the wall? Instructions say I can insert a cable tie on the back, but do I just stick a nail in the wall to hang it from the tie? That's sloppy, so I hope there is a cleaner way to mount this.

Can we still use the box and the apps without the service; with just internet?

It’s crazy to think that I really would have to go with Directv or xfinity to get both Turners channels and TUDN so I could get both but it’s so expensive

Wait, so if i get that box, i can redownload all my apps i been already have like Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax, prime, so does that mean I'm paying double. Meaning paying for my apps plus the direct TV?

I had direct stream for little over two weeks and I getting my second box today and a third remote is being ship all so, I think the people you call have the basic idea what to do for trouble shooting, one tv is working fine the other, nothing but trouble, no one has bing able to fix this one .

Yes I’m curious as I have a first Gen Samsung Smart TV I use for Outside that’s not compatible with the TV app / Roku I tried using to get around this however it wouldn’t display the user sign in. It only displayed direct tv app.

How reliable is this? I can’t connect through Ethernet and I have ATT fiber but att fiber and xfinity don’t seem to get along well

Had this for 4 months and now it keeps disconnecting from my wifi, my tv is connected and working just fine but this box is trash

We've had a box for about 2 years after the initial subscription ran out we did not renew it and have been using the box as a Chromecast app box now all the sudden it demands that I log into DirecTV and doesn't give me the option of settings or applications how do I get back to that and just use it as a Chromecast box without DirecTV streaming

Why is it that DIRECTV Stream only offers the Eastern time zone feeds for the channels, even for those in the West coast? I want them to also have Western time zone feeds for those in Western United States.

Can someone help me with a soundbar problem? We have the Direct TV streaming box for some reason our Nakamichi sound bar had quit working and we never reset it and got it working till a few days ago have had DTVS for a few weeks to a month now. Got our soundbar working but when we turn off our TV it turns off the soundbar instead of putting it into standby like it did with our Tivo when we turned off the TV. So now everytime we turn on the TV we have to use the Nakamichi remote to turn back on the soundbar too. At least it works but just wondering if their is a a setting we're doing wrong. I changed settings too and then had to change it back their was some CEC setting but than it wasn't turning off my TV so I changed it back. DTVS sent me directions but it's stuff we already did. unpairing and repairing remote rebooting the box.
