After years of watching crime investigation videos. I learned:

1: Do not go hiking with your ex just to make peace with him.

2: Do not meet your ex at his house or first date at secluded area.

3: Do not take any food or drink from someone you don't know.

4: Always meet in public areas.

5: If you plan to run away from someone... DO NOT let anybody know. NOBODY!! Just disappear! Do not go to your usual place or town to be with family or friends. They can find you there. Go to another state or country. Start over.

6: Do not get into strangers cars, it doesn't matter day or night..

Remember, once they start hitting you, there will be no stopping, they will continue to hit you. If they are used to screaming at you or insulting you in public, run.... Do not ignore all the red flags... And make excuses he did that because he loved me... That is BS! Be careful ladies

It saddens me to hear people say I want him to live every day with what he did. People still don't get that there are monsters out there with no sense of guilt or conscience at all. They relish in acts of violence toward people. They are sociopaths.

Great police and forensic work, well done Folks, what a rotten sad case where Misty seemed happy that this guy had contacted her only to take her life. Also though, happy that the dog Misty had given him was to solve the crime!

This story unfortunately reveals how deadly gossiping can be on the person they are about. The girl wasn't even pregnant and the man kllled her as if she was. She probably never even stood the chance of rectifying this aggressive and paranoid man's missconception. Luring someone to her death based on some grapevine crap is beyond me.

The fact that a guy Misty went on 1 date with mentioned the ex and the mom said nothing while cops wasted all that time just to go back to her to get a name from her seems so odd to me.

I know it's probably a normal response...but it's so weird that ppl always feel like there needs to be a valid reason for someone to be a victim like this. There are psychopaths out there, they don't think like normal people and they are never going to have a reason that's valid to us, for why they do things. That's why they are labeled as psychopaths and not "a normal person who did bad things"

Back in probably 2001, Crystal Archer was murdered by three people: one female, two males. This girl was from my hometown and I actually went to elementary school with her sister.

This is another reason why I left Brevard County Florida. Crime was getting bad not to mention too many people moving there and we had enough criminals as it is walking around and the worst of the worst always found its way there

How can you do that to a person you supposedly loved? Apparently she loved him more than he ever loved her. She probably wanted to reconcile with him, but he had moved on in life. Monster put her through hell, before taking her life so savagely. It shakes your faith in humanity.😔 RIP miss misty.

at 13:50, if Misty left her purse with everything in it except cell phone and driver license, it most likely meant she is going on a day trip not convenient to bring along bulky personal items. Since she was found in the water, it meant she probably was invited to a boat trip of someone with a boat.
