So, I've actually (almost) drowned before. I had to be recessitated. I was around the age of 12 when it happened. I can't really remember what happened in detail, but I do remember the pressure from the water making an impact on my lungs. I'm not sure about most people, but if you survive this, it can leave a lasting effect. I can't do most things I was able to do anymore.

I can tell you from 1 hand experience.... it does not hurt to drown. Its the panic it self thats The water entering your lungs do not hurt... but makes a "heavy" feeling....

been surfing for about 10 years and when i had a close call with drowning to death after a 3 wave hold down and panicking for air, i suddenly because calm and was looking up at the surface thinking "damn, i actually dont feel like i need to breathe... this is really nice and peaceful" and then a few seconds later i passed out. i woke up a few minutes later on the beach with a lifeguard pounding on my chest making me puke up the water. to be honest drowning might be the most peacful death.

Dude.. I was at the last stage when I was at the beach.. so the story is:

I went to the beach with my family as a nice relaxing day and my dad, brother, sister and I went to go on the board things that you go on to swim and so I fell of of It and tried going to shore but since there was really big waves at the moment it kept on pushing me down and the current was strong so I started panicking because every time I barely get up the waves push me down until I started to give up it was pretty calm ngl and my panic faded away and I saw the tunnel for one second until my dad pulled me up.
That's why I'm traumatized of the sea to this day.

, i died once, , got drown in the pool, 7 minutes under water, 2 minutes of struggling to breathe and 5 minutes of being dead, , my experiences when I experience death
1. You will hear a loud noise, but your the only one who can hear it. Cause after they've saved me, i ask them if they hear a loud noise, and said, no there isn't, the noise i hear is loud ringing and whistles... is like when you dive very far from the ocean, river or pool, you can hear it in your head or if you encounter zero sounds in the night, when the night is very silent,

2. In phase 2 the noises will be gone and it will replace by a very calm and silent state and Your vision will be completely gone, it's like your are in space without stars or in the very deep of the ocean, , you will experience a
complete blackout.

3. You will experience the true peace, it's like, you will like to stay there forever, like you are a non existing nobody, you have no functioning mind and emotion, , you're not worrying about anything or you don't care what's gonna happen to you and just wanna stay there and rest forever. Like you are floating or lying in the clouds..

4. It feels like you're still breathing, , this is real, , cause i remember after being saved and wondering, , how come that I'm able to breathe again after drowning or being dead underwater? That's why I've figured out that, , my spirit is the one that breathing while in the state of being dead, , it's not my body who's been breathing it's my spirit, , that way i understand that, there is a life in death..

And after that I've become a Christian after reading the Rapture, , if you've come this far after reading my comment I've suggest you to research what's Rapture is, , you can watch in youtube to find out what rapture is, I've suggest you that cause that is the extension of my comment, ,

This is true this happened to me today at the pool none come to mine or my 4 year old daughters rescue I blindly made it to the edge of the pool my ears and neck still hurt now and my eyes have a lot of pressure behind them so I have a severe headache, thankfully I only inhaled a small amount of water in my nose that my lungs did not fill up, but I was so scared I really thought I was about to take my last breath today, all I thought was keep my daughter above water and I did that so that’s all that matters! Is that she’s okay 😩

Once I was 8 years old. I was swimming in a pool because it’s someone’s birthday that day. I decided to go down a kiddie slide, and one of the people there had stolen my goggles. I went down and NEXT THING YOU KNOW, BOOM! The slide moves and I fell directly into the water. And I go underwater. I started to feel the pressure as I started to drown. I was luckily able to swim up sometimes so I could call for help, and that’s when my sister, who was 10, swam over when she saw me drowning. Then she grabbed me and took me onto the pool’s deck, and I was screaming in fear, as I nearly died that day, and it was TRAUMATIC. I still remember it vividly, and I am 12 now, just about to become a teenager

In the old apartment that me and my family lived in, there was family with a boy my age living upstairs from us. I was like 10 at this time. My dad and his mom went to work together so sometimes our familes would get together or have dinner with eachother, and I considered him a good friend. One day, I heard that he had went swimming with his other friends to the apartment pool and drowned. His friend called 911 and they were able to keep him alive, but water had filled his brain. They kept him in the hospital for about 6 months, and i wasn't td the details of the whole situation by my parents because they didn't want me to worry abkut that as a child, just that my friends was hurt and away for a bit. When he came back home, just my oarents visited them a couple times before i was allowed to. He was rekearning everything. That one time i came to his house, he was rekearning the ABC's and couldnt talk to me properly because damage was done to his brain. I knew he was hurt and supported him then but when I came back home I cried because he wasn't able to do anything like he used to and I thiught I lost my friend. Before, he was one od the smartest kids in our grade. We moved out and i haven't checked on him in a couple years, but i hope hes doing better ❤❤

I was at the age of 12, My birthday was in 4 days. I asked my parents to take me to the pool because I've been there once and I loved it. When I arrived at the pool I started playing, splashing water every where, when suddenly I made a stupid decision to jump while I was in the water. When I did, I lost my balance and hit the back of my head on the railings, I felt dizzy and ignored it all, I didn't even tell my parents what had happened. I forgot about it all and it went as usual, after almost about an hour of playing here and there, I once again felt dizzy and I swim towards the railing to grab it but I feel backwards, I went deeper into the pool, nobody noticed, since my parents and I were the only ones in the pool, I tried to scream but failed, I kicked my lega rapidly to attract attention, my eyes and ears were filled with water at that point, I didn't think about anything that moment, The feeling of death sometimes made me satisfied so I stopped kicking and moving and just sunk deeper and deeper into the pool until my vision was all blurry, and then. Bingo, I was at the bottom of the pool, not moving, not breathing. I gave up and I decided to accept my fate because of my obsession with killing myself, just for the feeling. I woke in the hospital, realising I had drowned and my parents yelled at me for not screaming. But I was angry actually, because I couldn't even breathe or talk, how could I scream?..
Then after 2 months, the EXACT same thing happened to my elder brother.
