The first point he made about sea level taking thousands of years to rise is NOT TRUE. Look up 'Meltwater Pulse 1A'. there is a nice Wikipedia article about it. Just 14, 000 years ago sealevel was rising at 2 inches (5cm) a year. Just 8, 000 years ago there was no English channel and there was an inhabited island called Doggerland in the North Sea.
