Actually if you backup the phone and reset then restore the backup, the “Other” files get deleted (usually useless stuff like caches, etc.) and for me that’s the most storage hogging thing

I have another option just backup your phone then restart it, once you sign back in you will have more storage available. I can’t explain it without it sounding dumb but it works.

Google Workspace provides a free 15 GB of storage, Proton Drive provides 512 MB out of the box but I did some offers and got 1 GB, and Terabox gives 1 TB/1024 GB of storage, all for free, but Terabox has been accused of selling user data and is ad supported.

That feature was added along side with iPadOS. Since iPad OS is iOS, they both get the same features. You couldn't use OTG's before iOS 13. (iPad OS was not a thing yet)

Thank you so much! I’m getting ready to shoot a short action film with my friend in the coming months, and was worried because I want to record it in 4K on my iPhone XR, however I only have 64gb, and like 48gb is taken up, 20 of it by pictures and videos. Now I can just buy a couple hundred gigabyte sd cards and use those to keep sending the 4K footage over!

I used to have this problem but then I got myself a phone with a large amount of internal storage PLUS an SD card with a one terabyte capacity so no more problems ... good luck & peace to you all 🖖
