If you understand the storyline of Enterprise you'd see why this is a perfect song for it. The Vulcans held the humans back for nearly a century, they are finally going beyond their own star system. It is the indomitable human quality of "faith if the heart" and "strength of the soul" that kept them striving for this time and keeping them going ever onward.
That is what this star trek series is all about.
