There's a line out the door daily at Charlotte's new Dave's Hot Chicken, but is it worth it? I snagged some to try out and give you my verdict. Let's try a tender and a couple tender sliders!

I've never seen a chicken chain who's mascot is a rubber screaming chicken.

This has been on my list for a while now. We've had one probably about 25 minutes away from me here in Troy, MI that I would love to try. It seems like there are a thousand chicken places opening up all around here - Wingstop, Wingsnob, Detroit Wing Company, and on and on. Canes just opened its first location in Michigan near MSU in Lansing and they had a mile-long line to get in apparently. I'll wait for that to die down before I make an hour and 15-minute drive out to central MI. I bet this would taste good paired with a nice fresh HopSlam which just got released early here!

Dave’s just opened a spot about 10 mins away…I’m always down for trying new hot tenders so it’s on my radar for Friday lunch

Papi, I don't get to watch your videos as much as I used to but still check in. I enjoyed Dave's and think it tastes even better as a sandwich for whatever reason. Glad you enjoyed!

I drove two and a half hours from Chapel Hill to the Wilmington location to try it. The extra hot was no where near as spicy as I was expecting it to be but it was still delicious.

I get one extra hot and one reaper. Anything under has a sweet taste I don't usually prefer haha. Delicious

Magic Mikey is always eating Dave’s Chicken(I don’t know if you’ve ever seen his channel). I don’t have one in my state. Those are the biggest tenders I’ve ever seen. I’m glad you enjoyed it. And, keep wiping your mouth; eff those people who have an issue with it!🤪🧻

That seems like a local place near me called Hot Chicken Mama. Huge chicken, 6 different levels of heat. It's really good, but really expensive. Like Combo #1 is a Chicken sandwich on a potato bun (you pick the heat level) with purple Slaw, Pickles, Comeback sauce and fries. $15.00! So, I don't go often, but when I do it's good. Just way too expensive.

Sure does look we have one of those Roadie type chicken places at a gas station delly. It's the giant white meat chicken tenders with cajun spice breading. The chickens that are born with no beaks and just lay around getting pumped with steroids to bulk them up until they are ultimately killed for their only delicious juicy tenders to be dipped in various dipping sauces.
Those tender sliders that you had though looked amaze balls

I live I a very small city that usually never gets new trendy chains like this. No chik fil a, not even KFC. But one of these surprisingly just popped up right down the street from me and opens next week. Very excited.

Gotta remember it’s always best when served fresh, not delivered when it loses heat and crispiness. 😅

Had it once over the summer, and Papi, the bone in chicken, specifically the thighs, were like a religious experience. Tenders were just ok. But I’d run over my own grandmother to get more of their bone in chicken
