On my life, my mom actually saw this. she talked about it when we went to Colorado and how she described it sounded like the rake, so I looked up images of the rake and she covered her mouth and said that's it.

Call me crazy, but in the summer before my freshman year, my 2 friends and I snuck out of my house around 2Am. We walked about 2 miles down the road I lived on, heavily blanketed in forest. During the walk we saw many creatures but none would compare to what we found at this bridge. We got the bridge around 2:35AM. My friend threw a few rocks into the river and we heard them splash. Just as we were about to walk further, we heard the sound of sticks crunching nearby. We figured it was probably a deer. Then we heard this in-human scream. It was like nothing any of us had ever heard. We all froze up, and in the distance under the moon light we could see a humanoid figure walking by the river. We were on a bridge about 12 feet above the river. This thing was almost level with the bottom of the bridge, by my estimates approximately 8 or 9 feet tall. It then released another in human shriek, and thats when we took off bolting. My two friends are asthmatic and never run. I was a cross country runner and well conditioned. They both out ran me with pure adrenaline. We managed to run until we got back to my house and we locked all doors and windows. To this date my guess is this was the rake. We went back to the same bridge countless times armed with shotguns but never saw or heard it again.

This is the coolest experience I ever had. So one time I had sleep paralysis and it was one of the types where you hallucinate for a little while, I had it while sleeping on a couch in my living room. I was staring right at the door, than there was something like horde of zombies, it was very vague and the coolest part is that it ended right when one of them was about to strike me. So good for me I guess
