Is The Rake Actually Real?

Today I investigated the Rake which is a pale white slimy creature who hides in the woods among many other places. There is lots of stories about it entering through you dreams and I am trying to figure out if its true. People confuse its sightings with Skinwalkers or even the Wendigo.

I know the history of Rake. In short, it all started in the Georgian village Shamgna, a strange creature appeared. The whole village was amazed. It lasted for a week, and then they discovered that this creature was a person, who was kicked out of the army a long time ago.

I honestly love this so so much, I actually learned a few things from this video, I’ve never heard about the stories of it starting in dreams, I only ever heard about that with wendigo, and I’ve also never heard about possession. Also thank you thank you THANK YOU for discussing how they are actually called crawlers (it’s such a pet peeve of mine lol). I understand the professionals veiws though the thing that makes me think differently is the fact that a lot of crawler sightings aren’t actually aggressive. I have a cool documentary on it, Fascinating stuff!

i dont know if the rake is the same as the demons in those mountains or creatures. but you dont want to stare into the woods, or something would stare back, also said that do not whistle or yell. if you do, something will mimic you, if it sounds closer, its far away, sounds far away, its closer.

As someone who lives in the Appalachian mountains in VA I have had my sightings: So the first time I “saw” this creature was at my friends house. It was dark so we couldn’t see much alright but, what me and him see was a pair of red eyes then when our eyes adjusted we saw pale skin. I can agree with the guy in the video that said “He was in a crouching position like a catcher in baseball.” The strange thing about this the night I stayed over at his house we both had a nightmare about the rake and we kept waking up to strange sounds in the middle of the night.

I dont know but I love monster or creature hunting videos, something about them, being out doors and nature is just calming even if you're looking for something that could possibly end your whole career. Anyways, have you tried to look for the man, the legend himself? You cant make a cryptid hunting series without including Bigfoot! Hes the most well known cryptid and probably has the most sightings, maybe you'll be able to catch a glimpse of him on camera. who knows?
