Ken I can personally recommend MPB an online used gear shop. I have bought several cameras and lenses from them. They test and clean everything and give a guarantee. They started in the UK but now have store’s in the USA and Europe. They have excellent stock and are very well priced. Their service is excellent.

I purchased my Fuji camera through Roberts and later went back to them for a vintage lenses. It was not as described. They took it back without question but never said a word. I have never purchased anything through keh. I have through B&H and have been satisfied. Seattle good will has been great too. eBay is hit or miss but at least you are guaranteed that the item must be listed accurately or you can return without issue. The Japanese sellers are pretty thorough with their listing criteria. They seem to be among the most trustworthy overall.

Hi, I would really appreciate if you could help me with this:
I have a question about the Fujifilm 56mm Lens I recently purchased used from B&H for my XT4.
I used a couple of K&F Variable ND filters on it and all photos turned out slightly out of focus. I checked everything (clean filter, clean lens, etc). Do I need to buy the more expensive ND filters like polar pros? or is there something wrong with the lens? Thank you. (couldn't find any clear answers online)

sent in some older manual prime lens to KEH back in Dec 2021, now they are claiming 1 is inoperable Jan 5th 2022, so shameful because I tested all my lens before shipping, unless it got damaged in transit...KEH is trying to blow me off
was supposed to receive my gear back sunday now the tracking info wont update, so who knows at this point if Ill ever get my gear (lens) back

Im on the other side of the world. I ordered a marked as ugly lens from KEH. Took two days to arrive. To my surprise the lens is in perfect shape. I strongly recommend KEH. Good customer service and fast shipping .

Ken, what are your thoughts on B&H? I am a newbie who lives in NYC and bought all his gears there except for one pre-owned Zeiss from Adorama, and I've been extremely pleased with both of them so far. Now that I'm trying to sell a DSLR and a couple of DX lenses, I'm unsure whether to go with B&H, Adorama or eBay/Amazon. Any recommendation for amateurs like myself?

I've contacted Roberts and I have gotten no response. Not even a, "We don't what your gear." email. It seem pretty sketchy to me. I'll have to check out camera west.

Have had several very good experiences with Used Photo Pro. Product often exceeds the quality of their grading system. Generous return policy and fair value given for used gear. I like them. They answer the phone and are friendly. Had one experience with KEH. The lens purchased was ok, but it was packed terribly. Not very well protected at all. Did not make a good impression. Used Photo Pro on the other hand packs equipment very well and tight. Very re-assuring.

Roberts has been my go to camera place for probably 50 years. They are reliable and trustworthy. I started going to Roberts when Bruce’s parents were still alive and running it. I think Bruce’s daughter is now taking over the business. I go to Bruce/Roberts first. ONLY if I can’t get what I want, then will I turn to B&H. Bruce’s store manager is Phil Gibson and he, too, is top notch. Thanks for the video.
