I like the 3RD GEN USB POWERED ACCESSORY MOUNT (3TPAM) from Expedition Essentials. Kinda pricey but totally worth it imo. I took it out of my old taco and still need to reinstall it in my new taco. It uses the RAM Mounts too and I have one ball that that cracked because it got bumped and it was a bit tight. Thise magnets seem really strong I might consider them. Thanks for sharing!

Rob. I thank there is a loves truck stop around Brownsville. They sell phone holders that has steel balls on them. I don't know if that could help out or not.

Don’t tighten them so much. The rubberized plastic balls should provide enough grip strength after just snugging them down.

Question - the Ram ball that shattered, was it from another system you had or was it one you purchased from Taco Garage when you bought your DMM? Reason I’m asking is my DMM & Mighty Magnet Mount from Taco Garage is arriving tomorrow. This video got me wondering about the quality of the ball mount if yours is from TG. Please let me know…thx
