" and then a long string of curses calling that manager and district manager telling them in no uncertain terms to take the fucking thing down and be prepared for a visit from corporate to get fired

I know a lot of people who used to work on mcdonalds, and some people would just stop going to work, without even saying they were quitting. I think that’s why they made the sign.

I'd use it as a free therapy session. Just talk to the manager for hours, relaying your entire life story, until they get fed up and let you quit, and then get paid for your time. And if they blow you off or try to fire you, tell them you were just following their own rules and you'll sue them if they refuse to listen to you, because you are following their own rules, so the dismissal would be unlawful.

McDonalds also had us sign a paper saying that we wouldn't talk about our wages, which I've learned since is very illegal 😂 wish I'd have known back then. But if you get a paper like this, take it straight to a lawyer.
