On January 27th 2017, 8 year old Gabriel Taye hung himself after enduring weeks of relentless bullying at his school. Bullies are cowards that crave attention and social validation. No matter how weak you may feel, if you stand up to them, you take their power away.

Our new single "Soldier," is an anthem for anyone who is has been bullied or is dealing with an abusive relationship. We always perform this song, with specific people in mind, so we hope you'll dedicate this to your favorite coward and raise your middle fingers with us

This song speaks volumes to me.

I was bullied relentlessly in school, and struggled with mental health issues and, on occasion, suicidal thoughts as a result.

Everything changed for me in high school. I had enough, and started doing MMA. I wanted it to be an unknown fact, but somehow, word got out, and the people that once bullied me started respecting me. Perhaps they'd figured out that I was, metaphorically speaking, a ticking time bomb waiting to explode on them and teach them a lesson.

To this very day, those same kids still respect me, and even possibly fear me.

I needed this song while I was going through school. I have ADHD and a small inability to pull myself out of fantasy (don't worry, I can disconcern a video game from real life). These two things made me real easy to bully. It wasn't until my grandfather died back in middle school that I finally snapped a threatened the lives of the ones picking on me. After an officer showed up and found out that not only was I safe but found out it was a result of both bullying and not speaking out did I finally get help. I don't want to think about what I might have been if it wasn't for that officer.

This song hits me hard. Im a military child and ive also been bullied almost everywhere ive been. And this song is obviously to those that have been bullied and abused.
To everyone thats been abused, and bullied. Its not your fault, and just stay stong. They cant do much if you dont let them

I've suffered from Depression Anxiety and Anger from school life and this song and this band gave answers to me but I will change when I go to college before joining the military for the right treatments and recovery because of this band and this song thank you "Citizen Soldier"

I can't tell you just how much this song has helped me. It literally gave me goosebumps. Sometimes I just want to THROW From a Marine I used to know, he would always tell me when my face was in the dirt, get up and never forget we're Warrior's. Never surrender, never say I can't. That's horrible that the 8 year old did that to himself very very upsetting it's very sad that people get bullied the world is a sad place sometimes! Honestly I wish people wouldn't bully others they honestly don't know what's going on inside their head even the people who always smile and seem happy might be the ones hurting the most you never know! Being someone who was constantly bullied in school and having not had a lot of friends when I was in school, this song has a much deeper meaning to me as I had struggled with thoughts of committing suicide and have attempted to take my own life numerous times. Thank you for this song. Rest in peace, Gabriel.

I was graced with this song on my spotify recommendation, my god the emotions, I was tearing up each and every time I listened to it ( this after listening to it ten times in a row), the lyrics resonate with my past and who I am in such a way that I swear I could see what you must have gone through to have written such a masterpiece, and if it isn’t clear yet, I absolutely live for this song!!!
