Wow... This song hits home. I am proud to say I chose to save my story two years ago, when I decided to hold on and stay strong.
There are days when life is down, but there are some when it is up and happy, and I decided it is better to live for those happy moments. Stay strong out there <3

"If you make it to the morning." That line resonated deeply because there was many where I almost didn't make it to the next dawn light. Holding a bottle of pills and every time either my dog came up and nosed them or pawed them away or a friend would message almost as though they had some kind of sense I needed a shoulder. As of April 27th I am 3 years and 4 months self harm free. I last used a crisis line November 2020. I still keep it near but it does get better and I hope whoever needs this nudge sees this. Pursue you even if others don't like it or care. Pursue your dreams even when others scorn or laugh. Pursue what makes you happy because in the end, the ones who matter most and care about you will still be there by your side.

Wow I'm actually early on this one. Guys I wanted to tell you, your music has literally got me out of depression. I remember finding your band back in December 2020. My country was hit bad by covid and my studies too were taking a huge toll on my mental health. I remember the first song of yours I listened was "My Little Secret". And from there I just fell in love with you. Although I'm doing way better now, I can never forget just how much you guys mean to me. Loads of love to y'all.

That was such a powerful verse, I love how inspiring the song is, it was something I needed to hear since I have a tendency to get depressed: I often think about how meaningless my life is and how insignificant my actions are, I feel I cannot and will never be able to help anybody else, so I wonder if there's even a point in keep trying. Maybe it's just because of the voices in my head and the echoes that I hear, but I cannot help asking myself if I'll be ever useful or happy. So thank you Citizen Soldier for always reminding me that's none of that it's true, and give me hope whenever I need it💛
