I'm playing Zelda: a Link to the past for the first time currently myself.
I had a Genesis, my best friend had a SNES,
So I only missed out on the games that were long and involved like all those great RPGs

I regret missing out on the Turbo Grafx-16.
Always wanted one, I'm really loving that system as an adult.

I regret missing out on the Playstation, Sega Saturn, and the Dreamcast. I always went with Nintendo products even the Gamecube I held out hope. I actually regret not having the internet at the time to help me understand what were good SNES games to buy/play. I remember going to blockbuster and other Mom and Pop rental places and just strictly judging games by their cartridge artwork. I missed out on Super Metroid, Link to the Past, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, and Mario RPG just because I didnt have a reliable source other then word of mouth to figure out what should be on my radar.
